Monitors

Hey guys, im looking to get a new LCD Monitor as my current LCD which is a 19". Basically I have it set to native res which is 1280x1024, and im finding things to still be too large. So I thought about this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...id=510&subcat=

or (OCUK dont have it in stock currently):http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...id=510&subcat=

Or if you guys can recommend anything better, feel free to post :)

TIA

I have a viewsonic monitor. It's excellent. The only downside is I bought mine a couple of months before Viewsonic implemented HDCP in their monitors, but mine is not upgradable.

Bought this one in the end: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...id=510&subcat= Now I know it has HDMI, and I have an adapter, but will a HDMI cable be supplied with the monitor? If not anyone know where I can pick one up?

I took delivery of my new monitor, which I am very pleased with but two questions, why is it that im only offered a 60Hertz refresh rate in Vista, (also the tick box underneath is greyed out)

and ther monitor is capable of HDMI, I have an adapter, but no cable, where can I get one?

The screen will do 75hz, but not at 19x1080, like most TN panels.

You can buy HDMI cables from TV shops, ebuyer, or other websites on the internet for as little as a fiver.

Re: Monitors

I always thought that refresh rates don't apply to LCD monitors. I read around again and found an article that says as much. So it seems this is the case?
