V+ simple question!
 

Do you get a new V+ box at install time or are they reconditioned boxes? Is the £99 for install or a new shiny box?

you get what the installer is given, it may be a re-conditioned box, ours was, but we wouldn't have known if the installer hadn't mentioned it.

The £99 is the install fee. You rent the box. You're worrying needlessly. They work in the same good/bad way as other ones.

It's a similar story with sky, there's a lot of reconditioned boxes knocking around on Sky+ HD.
