BT ADSL and new Belkin modem/router
 

Hi guys, am staying at my parents this weekend and trying to get my Dad's new router set up but am having big problems with it.

Don't really know much about ADSL, so am lost. Currently he has the BT Voyager 220V router and he bought a Belkin ADSL modem and Wireless router.

However once I connect up the new router the telephone light flashes then becomes solid however within seconds it starts flashing again. I don't know what is causing it so I hope someone with better knowledge of ADSL connections can help out.

You entered the username and passwords all correctly?

Well just to let you all know, it suddenly started working fine. No idea ADSL confuses me. I'll just stick to my VM Cable Modem.

adsl normally takes a bit of time to sync up mate, takes about 5 mins before it works correctly
