This time it's Clarkson

Has he been caught in a drugs scandal? Has he been filtering money away from a charity?

No, he's offended the PM...

And what was wrong with what he's said.

Gordon Brown has a glass eye and he is Scottish.

Surely people are allowed to say he is an idiot?

Is he not allowed an opinion?

Re: This time it's Clarkson

Why does everyone get so uptight when its a celeb to makes a comment but when a general member of the public makes a comment they ignore it?

Anyway, Clarkson is right, Clarkson is always right ;)

I think he's a bit upset because more people want JC as PM and not GB...

You cannot say anything nowadays without 'offending' people!!!! We need to grow some balls and take it on the chin.

We are fast becoming a nation of over sensitve looking for offence wimps. There are some in this country that won't be happy until were all saying only what is decided is right for us by others who feel they are more superior then we comon folk. Personally anyone can say what they want to me and it can be as offensive as they like as long as they are prepared to get the same back and i certainly don't feel the need to go and get others involved or express my outrage at what one person may say to or about another. We really have got to grow up and start being adults because right now we have a culture growing in this country of bland conversation because say one thing wrong and your in for it because there are laws.

I don't fancy the idea of growing balls anywhere on my person!!!!!!

As far as Clarkson's comment goes, he used 2 accurate descriptions and 1 personal opinion. If the worse any Politician has been called is an idiot then I would think they would consider that they got off very lightly. :)

Re: This time it's Clarkson

In fairness, the one eyed scottish idiot himself doesn't seem to have commented.. Other people seem to be offended on his behalf.

Mind you, I would personally call GB something a lot worse. Particularly for his incompetant handling of the current financial crisis (he may not be directy responsibile, but the crisis can be at least partially attributed to the deregulation of banking which occured while he was chancellor of the exchequor).
