Gordon ramsay *******

In todays edition of The Sunday Mirror, viewers have complained about the amount of swearwords used in his tv show on Channel 4.

Gordon Ramsay, is well known for his use of the appropiate language and yet people tune into his shows and count the amount of times he swears.

I personnally, think the guy is a genuis, and l enjoy every minute of his shows, and what people don't realise, is that he is like this off screen, as l have met him, at his restuarant in London, l would suggest to viewers, that as he is well known for this 'language' show, and they don't like it, then don't watch it.:)

He is known as a guy who swears all the time.
If people don't want to hear him swear why the hell do they watch his show.
It's not like it is on before 9pm anyway.

Not watched any of his shows for a bit, but I did watch the double show he did recetnly...Absolutely loads of swear words..but in my opinion it just shows how much fustration he must feel in trying to teach one idiots that boil in the bag food isn't really cooking ;)

As others have said if you don't like swearing then go watch something else...your loss...

I don't find his excessive bad language offensive, just pathetic and tiresome. It's become something of a trade mark which his advisors clearly feel ups the ratings and generates publicity and as we all know, there's no such thing as bad publicity*....

* of course the likes of Michael Barriemore might not agree.....

Watched that to and thought it was very good. Couldn't beieve that guy who wouldn't take any resposibility or listen to his chef. I really enjoy his shows myself and dont take offense to his swearing.

Like has been said again and again in this thread people can choose to just not watch it. It really annoy's me when people choose to watch it to count swear words and then complain to try and get it taken off from us viewers who do enjoy it.

People forget that it's just Gordon Ramsey's style. Working in a kitchen is extremely stressful and the chef is under a lot of presure to keep everything under control (if they lose control, the business can lose a lot of money). Gordon lets off steam by Shouting and swearing. Marco Pierre-White (who apparently trained Gordon) doesn't swear at all, but his voice takes on a sinister tone when angry..

I have been known to use the odd profanity myself. I find Ramsay quite entertaining at times but his overuse of the f word can be slightly annoying. I've heard the argument that that's just him but he has been known to go through interviews without swearing. So I'm sure with a bit of effort he could dilute it if he really wanted. :erm:

I've got to admit that I don't like it and as a result don't watch it. :o:
I really couldn't be bothered to complain about it though.
I feel it is a shame that Gordon Ramsey's vocabulary is evidently so limited that he has to keep using the same 'f' word as an adjective no matter what he is trying to describe.

It all gets to be terminally boring after a very short time rather than offensive.

Have to agree, it's not like his just started, so why watch it? There does seem to be a section of society who only watch programs so that they can complain.
