Uninstalling Messenger Live from Vista

Anyone know how to do it?? It's not actually listed under programmes and features so I can't do it that way :erm:

Try http://www.ccleaner.com/
Does that list it?

Dont think CCLeaner has the option to remove messanger.

Try this russ, it works on xp, so may work on 32bit vista.

Thanks but I don't want to disable it, I want to uninstall it.

OK I've just realised it's part of 'Windows Live Essentials' - when I click on 'uninstal' it doesn't do anything. Looking online comes up with all kinds of cunfusing methods to remove Windows Live mail etc when all I want to go is uninstall msn!!

Or (clutching at straws) Control panel\administrative tools\services and then look for any reference to messenger and right click\properties select disable from the start-up type.

Just seen your other post so ignore this ;)

Looking at the link Kymmy supplied it could be hit or miss, suck it and see I guess.
