Cut and Paste - I'll probably get some stick for this question - but can someone please explain in very clear language how to 'cut and paste' particularly when you receive an item in an e-mail and are required to 'cut and paste' into your web browser which is on a completely different screen. thanks and regards harford :dunce:

highlight the text, right click then select cut, browse to where you want it pasted and right click again and select paste!

With your mouse, go to the beginning of the line of text you wish to copy and press the left mouse button. Keep the left mouse button held and drag your mouse across the rest of the text you wish to copy. (It'll start getting highlighted) Let go when you get to the end of the text you wish to copy. Then in your browser click Edit from along the top, then copy.

Then go into the place you want to paste your copied item (if it's a web link, then the address bar at the top of the browser) and put your cursor into that as if you're going to type some text. Then go into Edit and click paste. That'll paste the copied text into the browser.

or you can highlight then use the ctrl key and c to copy and ctrl key and v to paste :)

I have come across some parameters where you have to paste this way admittingly not often
