Wii remote charging station

Hi all,

Probably a daft question this but I got one of those twin remote charging things but one remote is dead and the red light just flashes when put in to charge and won't charge. Not sure what the problem is but I thought maybe the batteries are somehow stuffed. I've tried charging them in a normal charger but they seem to drain quite quickly.

Question is can I just get any NiMh rechargeable AAAs and use them? I'm not sure about if the charging on those bases is the same as with a normal charger?

Should be fine, the higher the charge the better :)

Cool, cheers. The ones that came with the base are 750mAh, I might go for 1000mAh or more...

Shouldn't be a problem, just be aware that obviously they will take longer to come to a full charge but should last longer :)
