moving a cablem modem..
 

Hey there...quick question... I am at my sisters house...I brought my 360 but her roomate moved outfrom down stairs so there is only one tv upstairs but he left the cablem modem..can i bring it up stairs by the tv and just plug it into the cable there or waht...I am pretty good with computers and all that mumble jumble but I dont really know how cable modems work...any help would be nice... thank you..
