Anyone tell me if christmas day and boxing day are charged at normal rates for calling uk landlines, im on the L phone package which gives me Unlimited evening and weekend UK landline calls

normal rates on all networks including BT. Thats how phone companies make money because they know when christmas day and boxing day fall on a weekday,most people make calls during the day meaning that they are quids in!

Although if you are on Virgin Media's talk anywhere plans you dont have to worry because it comes out of your minutes.

No they saw a money making opportunity and they took it!

Skype now offer unlimited calls to landlines for just £1.99 per month!
