Stupid pings?
 

Hey I was wondering why when pinging i get rediculous high pings..such as this (my router)

1 4294967288 ms 4294967288 ms 4294967288 ms 192.168.1.1


Though it doesnt like slow down as if its timing out, or is this just a windows glitch. :confused:

do the following run/ cmd/ tracert to web site post back results

i had a similar problem back in the summer and then my PC started randomly giving out blue error screens. When i looked in Event viewer i would get errors like it had lost its IP address from DNS etc and i thought it was Ethernet card.

Turned out it was my internet security causing the major high pings and errors.
