Wireless Routers?

Folks,

Just a quick query.

Im trying to sort out a wireless network for my sister before Christmas as they are getting a laptop.

Basically, she's a VM customer and requires a wireless router. However, she'd like the capability of printing from this knew laptop.

I purchased a Belkin Router a few years back which had the bonus of a built in USB print server (F5D7231-4P). Obviously, it would be so much easier to use a similar model to this.

Id be extremely grateful if someone could advise if it is still possible to by such routers??

Depends on the budget. I'm not sure there are many integrated wireless routers with USB print servers around - maybe a second hand F5D7231-4P - but there are several wireless print adapters, such as an Edimax one at Novatech for £55.
Are there any desktop PC's in the house as well as the laptop? It may not be as glamorous but Windows will happily share a USB printer across the local network.
It might even be as cheap to get a new network ready printer and plug that into the router.
Router-wise I'm still a Linksys fan-boy - WRT54G or similar.

You could also try the SMC SMCWGBR14-N (bit it lacks heatsinks on either the Ubicom processor or Realtek switch or even a thermal pad) or the Apple AirPort Extreme (but it lacks a firewall).

get a wireless network printer is easiest option i set up a brother one at my sisters house funnily enough with a couple of laptops and despite them both being completely untechnical lol ( i still have to go do updates and virus checks ) they print with ease
