Novice query. Which wireless router to buy?

Hi guys

3rd time lucky with wireless routers. Had a Belbin one about 18 months ago - kept cutting out. Mate gave me a 2wire one a year ago - no clear instructions.:(

Now I want a reliable easy to install router for my laptop. I read about Linksys on here - is that the best? The laptop spec is

Fujitsu Siemens
Windows Vista Basic
Intel (R) CPU
Memory 1 GB
32-bit OS

Thanks for your help.
Miss no clue!

You can't go wrong with a Linksys. Straight forward to setup and very reliable :)

2nd that. Had a belkin for 2 years, extremely slow. Switched to linksys, never had issue since.

I'm happy with my Netgear WGT524 V3

I have a Linksys WRT54G DSL router, with DD-WRT firmware, and it's an excellent piece of kit.
