How much would it cost to change my telephone number and also go ex directory.

Depends why you want to change your number.
If you're getting abusive calls, it's free.
If it's because you just want a change they'll charge.
Going ex-directory on your new number should be free.

I changed my number about 2 years ago, just to have a new number not because of abusive calls and it cost £10. Might cost more now though.

i had to pay £10 to get mine changed even though i was having threatening and abusive calls.

It's £25 if you just want to change it for the sake of changing it.

Changing it if you have to should be free, but only if it is the first time
