Tiger Woods 09 PS3

I have recently bought a Samsung 1080p HDTV along with a PS3 and HDMI cable. Pro Evolution looks good but the outline of the players on Tiger Woods 09 and also the crowd is blurry/pixelated. Could that be the game? I was expecting everything to be HD... any advice?

I have not played Tiger Woods 09 so I couldnt say tbh but some HDTV's have a Gaming mode which clears things up a bit it might be worth looking if thats the case for yours.

I would guess the crowd is blurry/pixelated because its not as important as other parts of the game E.G. your golfer or the Green. Is it only the crowd ? If so I would guess its like that in the game unless someone else who has Tiger Woods 09 corrects me.

It's the same on the 360,I think it's just shoddy programming, using the gaming mode on my tv made no difference.

As I thought. They dont usually put as much into crowds and stuff like that. Its the same on football games.

I found last night that my default setting on my PS3 was resolution 576, I have now ticked all the other boxes as my new Samsung has 1080p, it's made a massive difference, it is so clear now.

Thanks for your replies.

Ah right. Normally when you first setup your PS3 it test's what your TV can handle so I assume it was origonally setup on a diffrent tv then ?

Glad you got it sorted anyway. Enjoy HD :)
