NTL VS205 with no ring tone

Hi - our NTL VS205 has just stopped ringing for incoming calls. It was working fine. I think there is a mute facility on the phones but as I don't have the manual I cannot find how to turn it off. Does anyone have any ideas?

I tried the things from here before posting anything - but no success.

I have turned the answer phone on and off as well as setting it so it does not go to answerphone but still no ring
