Recording 3 Channels on V+

Hi. I'm a new user to the V+ service and so far, so good. However I've been reading other posts about people recording 3 channels at the same time when the box is in stand-by, due to the fact there are 3 tuners etc.
Anyway, having tried to set the box to record 3 at once, I get the message "This programme is not set to record as it clashes with two other programmes set at the same time"

How are others managing to record 3 at once then? Please advise.

You can only record 2 at the same time while watching a 3rd.

Although I suppose you could be recording two while watching a third in delay mode. And since delay TV seems to keep recording if you're watching something from V+ (although not onDemand), then so long as you return to your third "recording" within 80 minutes...

Ok, it's a fiddle :-)

Cheers

Or you could record something on a conventional DVD-R or Video recorder for the channel being watched I suppose?

would you not need a 2rd source to do this. To be honest given all the ways you can pick up programmes. I would not think its worth all the trouble.:D
