Astraweb SSL connection problems
I've just signed up to the astraweb usernet service as recommended by Zingle on another thread because they have a special offer on of unlimited with SSL for $11 a month.
My problem is i can't connect to their servers if i enable the SSL connection in my newsleecher client, although i can connect if i don't tick the SSL box. Do i actually have to tick the SSL box to get an SSL connection or is it already SSL? |

Re: Astraweb SSL connection problems
Sorry for asking a silly question, but what is SSL I know it means (Secure Sockets Layer) just wanted to know why it seems so important? What do you gain by having an SSL connection as to compared to not having it when using a news hosting site
