There normal logs they very rarely mean anything. Could you post your modem power levels?

Re: What have they done?
Getting 40kb/s off VM FTP.
Will have to phone them again, getting tired of having to phone them up now, this is the 4th time in the past month. when I was on 4mb didn't have to complain for 2 years, my pings were always < 20 and I always received my max speed. Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated. |

Re: What have they done?
I was getting crappy speeds earlier (between 5PM and 9PM). It felt like I was back on dialup, and pings to the BBC website resulted in a 50% packet loss... googles IP was 75%
Everything seems to be fine now though. :| Maybe some ghouls and goblins got into the machines for Halloween :D ...Or everyone was taking advantage of free leech at waffles.fm :p |
Re: What have they done?
Several days ago, i was getting between 8 - 25KBps on the newsgroups, and was having to suffer really poor browsing, guess it was just the upgrades in my area.
Everything seems sorted, and my newsgroup speeds are now a constant 2200 - 2400KBps, so there is hope :) |
Re: What have they done?
Still going on, thinking it's down to UBR congestion.
Was supposed to get a UBR upgrade last month, not heard anything about it though.. the time has passed and it's still on the Maintenance page with no updates. |
