Speed problem.
 

HI SINCE 12am i have downloaded only 750mb im on the XL BROADBAND.
just gone to download something now and im downloading as 29kb/s :erm:
ive tried the speed test that i saw on here by downloading 2 demo game files off blue yonder? one starts downloading at 22kb/s and the other wont even start.

any advice?

its speeded up a bit now its upto 48kb/s

trying to watch a video on-line as well off youtube but its imposable .

Thats really low can you post your modem levels here log on to 192.168.100.1 and we can see what they look like

I am guessing your ex-ntl so that means your downstream is little to high calls tech support and they should send a engineer out to sort out your levels

i have been getting a solid 18500kb/s speed since i got connected on the 22nd though???:confused:
just tonight ive had a problem.

I know but sometimes the levels get messed up are you using a router at all?

no connected to my pc threw a modem only with Ethernet.

Have you tryed just rebooting?
Cleaned out yolur cookies
checked speed with firewall and AV closed down?
