Yes but it quickly got oversubscribed so they had to pull the offer.

Re: Virgin Media Free Wireless Router?

If any one does get one, do not let VM install it. I got asked by a friend who had XL and a VM installed wireless router to setup a new laptop for use on their wireless router. While diagnosing why it didn't work I discovered that not only was the router wired incorrectly, they were piggy backing of their neighbours connection with their existing laptop! So much for VM knowing what they are doing. My friends are now using their own connection and getting much greater download speeds.

Re: Virgin Media Free Wireless Router?

You install the wireless router yourself as the engineer has no part in the installation.

If its a new BB install and you ordered a wireless router the engineer should take it out to the customer.
