MY BOX IS FREEZING! pls help
 

Hello

I plugged my V+ box into my HDMI tv without the scart in and now my box does not want to work. I have pressed down play and stop togerther and selected SD as suggested else where but no joy.

Can you please help me someone?

I WANT TO WATCH MY FOOTY!!! and the mrs is doing my head in!

Any suggestions? (other than ring Virgin to you plums out there ;-0)

If you select SD then you have to have the SCART in!

Hold in the Stop and Play/Pause buttons on the front panel, and press "Reset". Keep Stop and Play/Pause held in until the display says 'boot'.
After a few seconds the display should say 'outpt'. Press the Fast Forward button on the front panel several times until the display says 'Sd', then press OK. Wait for the V+ to reboot then you should be back in SCART mode.

Did this aswell but thanks to both of you for your help......

If anyone is interested, I actually found out how to rectify the problem. It came from a mate of a mate who works for Virgin. It's a bit long winded and it meant i lost all the info on my Box as it had to be completely formated.

ALL SORTED NOW THOUGH! Now I can watch my beloved Spurs get battered by Ars*nal (**** bags) tomorrow.......does anyone no how to break a V+ box?
