0844 call charges
 

Hi I use telediscount to call abroad. Until recently I was being charged 1p per minute which matches what telediscount's site says. I've just checked my current bill and it seems to have gone up to 2p per minute. Acording to telediscount they are still charging 1p per min. I've tried to get the lates tariffs from virgin but the I just get page load errors,
so just wondring if virgin have changed their pricing or if telediscount are giving the wrong price.

right to answer my own question
the number in question is an 084486 which is a g8 (or pg8 to virgin) number

and changing the sep08 doesn't seem to get me a different tariff guid

virgin now charge 7 p to connect and then 2 p per minute
BT not sure what they charge to connect but after that its 1p per minute

Virgins 2p per minute must have been a recent change as price comparison sites still have them down as 1p per minute.. well

Actually I've been told that it costs 12p to connect to an 0844 number and that was 1 month before Telewest became Virgin Media.

Your lucky! TalkTalk,Sky Talk and Tiscali have begun blocking access to such access numbers.
