How long does it take for Virgin media to update the broadband speed?

I just upgraded the speed to 10meg, but i tested the speed and its still 2meg.
I rebooted the modem, but still. Earlier on the speed was kinda up and down, but now its stuck at 2meg.

If you are not getting the speed unplug modem completley from the socket leave for 30 seconds then plug in again. Sometimes needs this.

but the bit rate would help us to determine his speed like mine does

Downstream Channel
The data shown in the table below provides information about the signal coming from the network to your cable modem.

Downstream Status
Operational

Channel ID
7

Downstream Frequency
339000000 Hz

Modulation
256QAM

Bit Rate
20480000 bits/sec

Power Level
0.8 dBmV

Signal to Noise Ratio
34.4 dB

Upstream Channel
The data shown in the table below provides information about the signal being transmitted to the network from your cable modem.

Upstream Status
Operational

Channel ID
3

Upstream Frequency
37500000 Hz

Modulation
QPSK

Bit Rate
768000 bits/sec

Power Level
55.5 dBmV

But you are on an Ambit and only they show the bit rate on the Telewest side.:D
