Something to put PC's on? (vibration/sound reduction?))

As topic title, Basically I've moved my pc into another room, and i'm no longer using the desk I was.

The previous desk had a shelf the pc sat on where it is at the moment it's just sitting on the floor.

This is an Upstairs Room and I think what's happening is the vibration from the fans is being amplified by the room floor, also i'd like to get the thing off the carpet anyway so it doesn't pull-in loads of fluff and junk.

Why not a rubber mat?

Or some anti-vibration feet. Eg:

What you're after is a large change in impedance so the energy is reflected back into the case - I.E. something soft and squidgy.

Tesco do a rubber mat (we've been using them to do motorcycle engine rebuild on) for only £1,50. just grab one of them, turn it upsde down and chop it into the shape you want with a pair of scissors
