Samsung laptop
 

I purchased a Samsung Q10 laptop a while ago as a present for my mum but it didn't have a charger (i knew this prior to buying it)

So far i have purchased two chargers from Ebay that say they work with the laptop but both did not, the connection was too big to fit the laptop.

Would a 12v adaptor work? I've been told it would.

It might do, intially, however you're running the risk of doing serious damage to the laptop's components. It is important that the voltage and current ratings are appropriate for your laptop.

I have used the 90W model for several months with no problems at all.
