Upgrading to V+ - need new access point..

I'm thinking of upgrading to V+.. and I plan to take them up on the offer of keeping my V box.

I want to put the V+ box where my current V box is.. and move the V box to the bedroom.. but there is no access point in the bedroom.

So my question is... will the installation guy put in an access point in my bedroom even though there wasn't one put in there as part of the original installation?... and would he do it as part of the V+ installation (and therefor not costing me more money?)

AFAIK, he should do. What they charge you for is the call out fee (the cable costs next to nothing), and he'll already be there.

If there is no point and you asked to keep the existing STB the installer will put one in for you.

Thanks guys.

I've managed to get the installation, without keeping the old STB for the half price offer (which I believe should only apply if you keep the old STB). didn't really NEED one in the bedroom anyway, so quite happy. Cheers for the info though.
