Missed the dolphins game because of this silly no Red Button on VM rule.

Patriots are NOT gonna be happy now that Tom Brady has been ruled out for the rest of the season with his knee injury against the Chiefs :(

Huge blow for them but a great opportunity now for Matty Cassel to show what he's got.

Really? Do you think so? What a fantastically piece of incisive news that is!

Personally I think the loss of Brady has been greatly exaggerated by pundits and bookmakers alike. Make no mistake about it, this team can run the ball and run the ball to set up the pass if necessary - Cassel isn't very good but he's good enough for that, particularly with a whole week of Belichick preparation behind him. You can still get better than even money on a Patriots win against the Jets on Sunday and I'd advise people to take it.

At least Brady was showing signs of the consistency that took him to the top, Cassel can make some brilliant plays but gets lost when under too much pressure..

BUT, it might be the kick up the pants he needs..

I'm not sure what you mean. Brady has always been very consistent, that's probably his greatest strength. Cassel has never made any brilliant plays, he can't have thrown more than 50 career passes, nearly all of which have been when New England are up big in the 4th quarter. He's never really been under any pressure until last week and he handled that ok.

Yeah you are right, Cassel didn't even play collage football regularly IIRC, he was second string there to
