Should I make the jump to Virgin?

Hello

Have been seriously thinking about moving to Virgin broadband 20meg, there’s a deal on at the moment online for £11 p/m for a phone line + 10 p/m for broadband first 6 months then £31 after.

Now this seems the better option than the current £29 p/m deal.

What I wanted to check was is there anyway for me to find out how congested the derby area/exchange is for virgin broadband? Or if there’s anyone here that has virgin 20meg broadband in Derby area.

I can live with the download limits between 4pm/9pm and 10am/3pm as well.

Also being an avid gamer on BE the service is great when it works... was fine for a while but lately been a lot of resyncs/disconnections and network downtime also connection sync keeps randomly changing and just getting quite fed up with it all.

My friends on virgin and says the service is good and stable no downtime in his area, and he has good latency also, seems quite appealing to me.

Thanks

If you find VM is pants you have 28 days to dump them without penalty.

However if you do make sure to get confirmation in writing.
