hello guys


i have a dial up modem with 56k connection


I WAS asking if there is a way that i can use to get the most of the connection speed {56k} During browsing and downloading


CUZ while browsing i feel it's too slow and when downloading the maximum where 5 or 6 kilos


SO plz anyone help me ,, and i'd really appreciate it

Although the modem is said to be 56k itwill rarely download things from websites at that speed.

Additionally, many websites now have so much content aimed at broadband customers that it will take time to load on your dial up connection.

When you say "5 or 6 kilos" do you mean kBytes or kbits? The theoretical maximium modem speed is 56kbps. 5 ot 6 KB would be 40-48kbps roughly, and thus this would be about right.

what i meant was kB/second and you said that it was normal

But i was just asking if we can add a little speed to the downlaod

process ..........AND THX for your attention
