no web access when downloading
 
hi does any one have this problem#?

i just join virgiin

im on the L 10mb package

when i use vuze to download and it normally gets to about 220-300kbs
i cant access the internet
but once i stop using vuze it works again...

strange? or can it be my configs or sometihng?

You probably want to limit your download speeds on Vuze, it sounds like it's consuming all of your available bandwidth.

You might want to try limiting your upload speed as well, this could also be causing problems.

I believe the recommendation is about 80% of the max..

By the by, if you're on a lower spec machine, you might want to loose Vuze & use a client, thats a little less resource hungry.

Given up completely with Vuze which is now too bloated. Try uTorrent and you won't go back to Vuze.

uTorrent is awesome, the best Torrent client imho.
Set to 10kbps upload max, and you should be fine.
Oh, and remember to port forward correctly if behind a router ;)

A better alternative is to get a router that supports QoS. (although maybe the QoS implementation in windows can be configured to help, I'm damned if I know how to).
