Active Hardware

Hi,

I got a quote to get some structured cabling work done. On the quote it mentions the supply and installation of active hardware, does this mean they will supply the switches?

Thanks

Sounds like some sort of powered piece of kit, whether its a switch or some kind of signal repeater (depending on distance) is anyone's guess.

Description is a little vauge, probably best to ask them for clarification
