Moving the boxes!
 

Hi Guys,

First time question so hopefully you can help.

Have Virgin V+, phone, modem etc, have three connection boxes on the wall that the items plug into, think one is the phone point, next one is the cable from outside etc.

when these were installed they were all sited in a row about 2.5feet of the ground, behind TV.

Due to renovation of lounge, I am looking to have these boxes moved about 5 feet from current position and lower to the ground. Any chance of being able to do this myself, or would I need to get Virgin guy out? If so, what department should I contact and how much are they likely to charge for this?

Really, to make sure that the services are not affected, then I would get Virgin to do it. If you do it yourself, and then the services do stop working, you would be charged to fix them

The call out fee would be £75 but that would include all the work you are wanting done
