Hello

I have my desktop pc (XPpro) wired.

My laptop (Vista) is connected wirelessly (built in wireless) via a Belkin Router, which was setup on my desktop with the Belkin installation cd

My question is, if I download a firmware update, do I have to download it to both my desktop and laptop or just to my laptop?

You should be able to install the firmware from either location.

Better off doing an firmware update from a wired connection, it's more stable, and there is a risk that the wireless can loose settings during the upgrade.

Most router manufacturers recommend that you dont upgrade firmware wirelessly
