I'm wondering how they can justify this after the shambles at Christmas. :confused:

You have to pay the right amount to attract and retain the right people. Ther salaries are in line with comparable industries....

Of course i dont subscribe to that point of view but that will be the standard reply which will be trotted out.

Not really relevent in this case, as Network Rail clearly don't have the "right" people.
