Zyxel post by chaz 001- now this is wierd

Why does this post act differently to all others?
When I click to read the message it goes to a raw vBulletin page with no cable forum branding and no way to reply.

It's the same for me. What router you got? It looks like the print friendly version, doesn't it?

Yep, VB is getting confused by the fact that the shortcut URL has "-print.html" at the end and then parsing the whole message using the printer friendly template.

Just tried a shortcut directly to the first post but it's still doing the same thing...a DB admin will probably need to pop into the DB and change the shortcut title as I don't think changing the thread title will have any effect.

Even a direct link to the thread gives the same result :( http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...php?t=33634101

Yep, any VB shortcut URL (it takes the title and shortens it to a distinct URL instead of just using the T= for thread number and P= for post number) that ends in the word PRINT is confusing the VB post parsing routine and parsing it as a printer friendly request. That must mean that when you click "PRINTER FRIENDLY" it just sends you to the same URL but with PRINT tacked on. Vicious little circle ensues :)
