After seeing the US and UK diplomatic responses on this, highlights just how weak Brown, and the apparent next Labour leader, Milliband, actually is.

It seems now we need to rely on the the US state department for our diplomacy much like we have to rely on the US justice department to administer our justice system (Abu Hamza, BAE, etc)
