Connection issues - ready light flashing - Help!
Hi folks,
I've had intermittent connection issues over the last couple of months whereby my connection drops and when I check modem the ready light is flashing. It seems to happen mostly in the early evening (but not exclusively) and I can't determine a pattern in respect of net usage (sometimes it happens when I'm not using it, sometimes when surfing etc). I'm in the Glasgow area (G73). I've had two engineers out - first one replaced the modem (to the new black one with 256 on the back) when I came home the problem was still there - about an hour later it seemed to resolve itself so I thought fair enough - ran fine for about a week and since then I seem to lose my connection every night for about 2-3 hours usualy between 4 and 9pm. Second engineer came out today and changed connectors on cable to modem, tidied up the splitters (we have phone, two V+ boxes and one normal box) and increased the signal at the box - but about two hours after he left the same problem returned - ready light flashing. I've logged into the modem and have pasted the data shown when the connection isnt working (from today about two hours ago) ...have another engineer coming out on Monday evening - but some help in meantime would be appreciated... Upstream power is too high, you need that engineer by the looks of things ...

Forgot to mention that I copied some stuff from the event log (below) and not sure if it's coincidence but the online light on my second V+ box starts to flash around the same time my net connection goes down.
