Crossed Legs on the Space Station
 
Apparently the toilet on the international space station has packed up after a loud thudding noise - must have been a good curry :erm:

In space, there is no gravity to take over so the loo works by suction. Maybe the proverbial stuff hit the fan ;)

I'm surprised this doesn't seem to have been covered so far - some of you punmeisters are really slacking :p:

They said on the news earlier that it was now being worked manually "the loo works by suction" anyone else suddenly feeling off their tea :).

I remember reading once that the suits astronauts use outside are equipped with...facilities, mind you hopefully they each have their own.:)

Well if they're chucking it out of the airlocks then the stratcom guys are going to have some interesting new bits of space debris to catalogue ;)

After watching Apollo 13 I thought thats what they did do, with liquid waste anyway?
