Help! Ps2 Connection !
Hi. I am trying to connect my PS2 to the internet via my pc, is this possible ?
I have a PLAYSTATION 2, 8MB MEMORY CARD, ETHERNET CABLE, PS2 MODEM+DISC, HOME PC w/WIRELESS CONNECTION TO BT HOME HUB. Can anyone please help explain to me how to go about setting it up. Thanks alot. Charlie. |
Re: Help! Ps2 Connection !
There should be 2 Ethernet ports on the back of the home hub if I remember rightly. just plug ur PS2 into the home hub with your ethernet cable and it should work. I don't know about how to do it through a PC though.

Re: Help! Ps2 Connection !
Thanks,
My homehub is downstairs and I connect to it wirelessly (via dongle) Bringing the hub upstairs would be the definition of a mission, so Im trying to see if I can it via the PC (bridging connections or something) Thanks a lot tho fella. |
Re: Help! Ps2 Connection !
If any help, I used to connect to the net on my PSP via the PC by bridging connections
(Wireless PSP -> Wireless USB Dongle -> PC -> Modem ) so I'd have a play about. You need to bridge the wired ethernet connection in from the PS2 to the wireless connection in Control Panel/Network Connections (presuming XP) and I *think* enable internet connection sharing. |
