Least invasive search engine/browser?
I'm using Scroogle, which I don't suppose is going to last forever - are there any other search engines which don't keep all your records as Google does? Similarly, I'm using Firefox but keep hearing that they're looking at the spyware market as well - is there a privacy-conscious browser out there for use with XP?

Re: Least invasive search engine/browser?
Sorry but your details are held by ANY search provider but usually only for a set amount of time (as deemed by their T & Cs).
How is keeping your details invasion of privacy/spyware? If you read the T&Cs they'll tell you that by using the service you agree to them keeping certain aspects of your data, usually just your search terms for statistical purposes though. Also with the way the Law is looking to go all site providers will have to keep some details. |
