Massive packet loss

Hi All,

I connect wirelessly to the Netgear router and get time outs and pings of 500+, i connect on a cable and i get <20ms. My guess is the router is dodgy in some way. It's brand new so should i get it replaced or buy a decent one? (i don't really like Netgear anyway) :D

Could it be the router location, something causing interference? Have you tried setting the wireless to a different channel?
