a second pc
 
thanks to the help here i have managed to connect my pc to the net wirelessly

now i am wanting to connect another pc (wife).

can any body help with advice on this
before i start pulling out my hair!

take it the wife has wireless lol should be the same way you did it with yours

p.s now the router is set up i should not need to access it from athe second computer?

Assuming the wife's PC has a wireless card installed and wireless is enabled, it should automtically pick up your router (bottom right hand corner; "wireless networks found") Right click on this, then you should see the name of your network displayed (and possibly those from houses nearby). Highlight your network and click on CONNECT. If you have enabled security, it will ask you for the code. It will spend a few seconds connecting (finding IP address) then it should work. In future it will connect straight away if you tick "Automatically connect"
