move my modem
 

Quick query,
i would like to move my modem up stairs to my bedroom as my wireless service is poor wg614v6
, i asked virgin cutomer sevice and was told 75 would do it

now i have a white cable box on the wall upstairs for my tv box
as well as a white box downstairs for my v+ box and my modem, can i simply move my modem uptairs and attach the modem via the cable splitter i have dwnstairs at the moment?

or should i buy another cable splitter to do this?

any help would be reatly appreciated

If that is a Virgin box upstairs then give it try using the existing kit from downstairs upstairs and vice versa, you can always put it back if it goes wrong, but it should work.
