Reactivate

How long does it usually take for virgin to reactivate my internet when I have been 'reconnected' and given them my MAC. (Rebooted modem).

hmmm it depends on the circumstances. Is it a reconnection following a billing issue ?

it depends weather they have sent a hit to your modem. this can take a while to filter through the system but rebooting usually helps.

give it till tomorrow then ring if its still not working!

Usually within 24 hours but in most cases within the hour.

If you are sure that your account is reconnected then give a call to tech support and they will activate your modem.And you will get the call credit as well. :-)

I requested a new modem the other day and the guy on the phone said that once I quote my MAC number I will be "connected in the very next second" (great english huh)
