3 years 4 months of music on your mp3 player...
 
IBM are close to trialling a new type of memory.

It's claimed an mp3 player could hold 500, 000 tracks.

At 3'30'' per track that's over 3 years of listening pleasure... :shocked:

I read that on of these chips could hold 500,000 gigabytes.

now is that 500 Terabytes / 1/2 petabyte

On the 4th paragraph it says 500,000 gigabytes, and 300 million tracks.
