Go Ape?
We're organising a trip to Go Ape at Delamere Forest later on the year, from work. Here is the site http://www.goape.co.uk/ContentArticl...?Id=85&ate=212
Has anyone ever been? Any advice to offer? Kind regards, SB |
Re: Go Ape?
I've been to Grizedale and Sherwood Pines - great fun. Be prepared to get a bit wet and muddy, if the weather doesn't look too nice...and may need to wrap up warm.
You will be wearing a harness and connected to safety lines, so don't wear anything too baggy. Only other thing is, make sure to pay attention to the safety briefing - you are totally responsible for your own safety! |
Re: Go Ape?
my best mate went there and said it was absolutely fantastic, she would love to go back...... she is 25.
I would love to do that too ik |
Re: Go Ape?
My wife and I went with our teenage children last year. Great fun, but tiring! Not recommended if your are afraid of heights. Also, you can't carry anything with you (like a rucksack), it has to be left in the lodge, so be careful with valuables.

Took this pic at the Bracknell Go Ape a couple of years ago.
Great fun - I'm not great with heights but it was very safe. I really liked the zip wires :-) |
