XL+ Package Ordered, V+ and Extra Box Fitted, No 20mb?
 

Hi guys, maybe i'm being a bit too quick to ask about this, but we had the V+ box fitted today and the old samsung box moved upstairs as part of the XL+ package we ordered.

I am yet to download a 20mb service file, I have left my modem off for 10 minutes and turned it back on but it is still downloading the 2mb one.

When do the new speeds usually take place in a situation such as mine?

XL+ = £65 a month for XL broadband, XL TV, Talk Unlimited, V+ and extra box.

ok first things first check ur modem config page the address is 192.168.0.100 and the username and password is root / root post them back here

Have checked them already, definitely 2mb:

Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 2048000

Maximum Upstream Data Rate : 200000

ring customer services and ask them to put you on the xl plus dnt ask them if u r just ask if u can go on it

Phoned virgin, all fine even though it was India :)

Now on 20mb and getting the full speeds too.
