Free DVD Burning software

Hi,

One of my friends bought a Pioneer DVR115 DVD writer and it did not come wit hany software for drivers. To cut a long story short. I've installed it for them but as you maybe aware XP service pack 2 does not built in DVD burning capibilities like the cd writing it does.

Could somebody recommend a user friend free dvd burning software?

CD/DVD Burning Tools:

The only one I've tried is DeepBurner, which worked as advertised.

I use cdburnerXP as well, it offers most (if not all, and then some) of the functionality of programs like Nero but is free :)

PC World Magazine, in the shops now, has Nero 7 essentials on the CD - Computeractive has it as a download, though they are now getting rather upset by links being posted - alternately, upset the papershop guy by looking up the link in the magazine.

Thats only any good if you want to burn an Image though.

If you want to author a Cd it's the wrong program something like cdburner XP or Infrarecorder will do the job.

I've got a copy of computeractive so shoudl I download Nero 7 or CDBurnXP which one would people recommend? so far cdburnXP seems to be a the favourite. I've used Nero in the past and found it quiet user friendly but I'm not sure about recent versions.
