I think they come here for the democracy,freedom to pursue a religion free from interference,education,no one shooting or bombing them,justice,excellent health care and the chance to earn enough money to send home to their families.

People choose this country because it has one of the BEST democracies and judiciary and some of the best social care and because where they come from isn't a patch on this country.To them it is far from crap and frankly if you were living in Afghanistan you may well be desperate to come to this country.

I get so peed at the idea that this country is so bad.It isn't, it's the greatest country in the whole damn world.Utopia it isn't but compared to some places in this world it might seem so.If you think it's so crap here maybe you should seek a home in another country.

Yes your right, compared to some places, Britain is a whole lot better. It's just my personal persecution, for me this country is turning into somewhere like America. What I mean by that is, seeing and being in America, the majority were arogant and had a lot of hatrid toward unknown factors. People have indeed changed here in England, people have lost respect to other people and property.

Maybe in 10 or 20 years, I will move to a quiet, repectful country. Probly France because I went there a lot when I was young and in the quiet villages (despite the langauge difference) everyone was kind and freindly.

Ok, no where is perfect, but like I said, It's just my own reasons.

The great irony there is that most of these people come through France to get here - maybe France isn't such a hospitable place after all? I dare say that there are quiet villages all over the UK where the locals are friendly but the truth is that even in countries like France, Spain, Germany etc. where there is a significant influx of foreign nationals tensions tend to rise and there are small towns and villages in France where the locals are fed up of Brits buying up the property. Perhaps it's just inevitable.

I think there are different rules in france for staying there, im not sure.

Overall, i think it's the populated area's where the problems start, I think that's a world wide problem though.

I live in a fairly remote village, as far as I know, theres like one group of lads that you hear about making trouble. Anything else is because of people coming from surrounding 'more populated' villages knowing that 'yeah lets go to ockbrook and get away with it, police don't patrol there' - Which is very true.

Who knows if they do or don't like it, personally i don't know any french people.

What you do is live in the places where there are little/no Britains at all.

Yes some of the rules are different and others just seem to be applied differently despite the fact that there are European conventions on such things amongst which is one which states refugees should claim asylum in the first safe country they enter. Still since when did the French do anything which didn't suit them? Not often! Their tactics on illegal migrants seem to boil down to assisting them on their way to the UK and hence out of France as quickly and cheaply as possible.
